Red Dirt Concert Series: Kyle Benedict Band and Carol Pacey & The Honey Shakers – 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pavilion at Posse Grounds Park. This free outdoor concert series returns every Friday in May at the Pavilion at Posse Grounds. This week features the classic country sounds of the Kyle Benedict Band alongside Carol Pacey & The Honey Shakers, a Phoenix-based act with a self-described “Americana-thrash-pop” sound and big vocals to match. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and arrive early for a good spot.
Aerial Sound Healing in Sedona – 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at Down Dog Sedona, 1785 W. State Route 89A. A unique wellness experience that suspends you in an aerial hammock while crystal singing bowls play around you. Mats, blankets, and pillows are provided. Sound Healing Journey – 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Aumbase Sedona: Sound Breath & Yoga. An early-evening sound bath to close out the week. Aumbase offers a consistent schedule of community sound healing and breathwork sessions in a welcoming space.
Live Theatre: Penelope – 7:00 PM at Mary D. Fisher Theatre, 2030 W. State Route 89A, Sedona. The Sedona Professional Theatre Company closes out its 2026 season with this original musical, written, directed, and starring Alex Bechtel. Live Music at Sky Rock Inn – 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sky Rock Inn of Sedona. Weekend live music with sweeping red rock views and sunset skies. Sky Rock hosts performers every Friday and Saturday evening – arrive early if you want a seat on the terrace.
Holding Liat – Northern Arizona Premiere – May 22-28 at Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre, 2030 W. S.R. 89A. An Oscar-shortlisted documentary following a family’s fight to bring home a daughter taken hostage, exploring the human cost of political division. Oak Creek Arts and Crafts Show – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Sedona Vista Village, 6657 AZ-179. A free outdoor art market running all Memorial Day weekend featuring paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, and Native American art, with food vendors and live entertainment set against Sedona’s signature red rocks.
Holotropic Breathwork Circle – 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Village Yoga Sedona. A guided breathwork session using the Holotropic method, designed to access expanded states of awareness through breath alone. A deep wellness experience for those ready to go inward.

Free to Be Me Drum Circle – 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Posse Grounds Park. A free, all-welcome community drum circle at one of Sedona’s favorite outdoor gathering spots. Bring a drum, a shaker, or just show up and enjoy the rhythm.

EIR Ecstatic Dance in Sedona – 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM at Humankind Center, 1730 W. State Route 89A. A freeform dance experience built around movement, connection, and release – no alcohol, no phones on the dance floor. A popular community gathering in Sedona’s wellness scene.
Live Music at Sky Rock Inn – 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sky Rock Inn of Sedona. The second night of weekend live music with those iconic Sedona red rock views. A great option for dinner, drinks, and local performers in a stunning setting.

Sedona Community Farmers Market – 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Wells Fargo Bank Parking Lot, 2201 W. State Route 89A, West Sedona. Sedona’s weekly Sunday market is the go-to spot for locally grown produce, fresh eggs, artisan goods, and handmade crafts. Still on the spring schedule of 11am-3pm – the summer hours shift to 8am-noon starting June 7.

Monday, May 25 – Memorial Day
Most organized events take the day off for Memorial Day, but Sedona is at its most scenic this time of year. The red rocks are golden in the late May light and the trails are warm but manageable with an early start. Cathedral Rock, Soldier Pass, and Bell Rock are reliable favorites. The Holding Liat and Midwinter Break films continue at Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre through the week if you are looking for something indoors and air-conditioned.
Tuesday, May 26
A quieter mid-week day in Sedona. The film series at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre continues with Holding Liat and Midwinter Break through Thursday. Check the Sedona International Film Festival box office at 928-282-1177 for showtimes. Otherwise, Tuesday is a great day to explore Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village or the galleries along SR-89A with fewer crowds than the weekend.

Flint Blade Live at Chocolatree Cafe – Evening performance at Chocolatree Cafe, Sedona. Flint Blade brings their sound to one of Sedona’s most beloved bohemian cafes this Wednesday evening. Check Chocolatree’s social media for the exact set time and any cover details.

Discovering the Matrix: How to Bend Time and Change Reality – 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at 1730 W. State Route 89A, Sedona. A consciousness and quantum reality workshop exploring perception, time, and manifestation. Very Sedona.
